HI GUYS
This should be a simple one for most people, but when I'm using the expression builder to build and expression using data from controls on a form I find the form folder on the left hand side of the Expression builder, Open it and all is blank - no fields are listed at all, whereas some other forms will list all the text boxes, combos, etc... Why is this?

Are you using the Expression Builder to build a query on which to base your form?

When I was first learning Access, I once changed the Record Source of my form to an inappropriate query, and all my controls (linked to fields no longer correctly represented in my query which was now the Record Source) disappeared.

Try selecting a single table that contains at least most of the fields on your form as the Record Source and see if your controls "return".
