I am attempting to separate an email address from the domain, at the @ sign. I have attempted numerous Mid functions to no avail. last attempt as: Domain: Mid([Email1],[@],15)

I would use the INSTR() function also

try:

Domain = Mid([Email1],InSTR([Email1],"@")+1)

user = Left([Email1],InSTR([Email1],"@")-1)
