Here is what I want to do: When the program is first started, I want a screen to pop up that ask the user to type in his/her name. If the user adds or changes any info on any of the forms in the program, I want this name to be recorded in a field on the form. Each form/table will have a MODIFIEDBY field.

This isn't for security reasons. I can't get the users network login because the user will be using this program out of the office.

Can anyone give me a general idea on what I should do or how to get started with this?
