This is my situation. I have a table that holds are part name and several diffrent failures that can happen to that particualar part. Is it possible to select the part name from a drop down box and then have a second drop down box that will display the failures for only that particiulat part selected from the previous drop down box?

You might want to take a look at the Solutions.mdb file. It's a sample database that comes with Access. You'll probably find it under Program Files\Office\Samples or somesuch.

There is an example in the this database that explains how to do exactly what you want to do. If for some reason, you can't find it on your machine, it's probably available from the Microsoft knowledgebase as well.
