View Full Version : install excel 2007 with 2003 still on C drive smiler44 07-02-2009, 09:45 AM Can I install Excel 2007 on my D drive while leaving Excel/Office 2003 safe on my C drive? smiler44 ajetrumpet 07-02-2009, 11:45 AM you can do this, but i have found references to excel objects in VBA in pretty much a crapshoot in terms of what version it will use. then there are always the snags with setting the associations of the file types. smiler44 07-02-2009, 12:56 PM Thank you Adam, I'll risk installing. Smiler44 ajetrumpet 07-02-2009, 01:47 PM I don't think it will be an issue. There are more issues with installing multiple versions of Access. That is much more complex, and I wouldn't recommend ever doing that. It caused havoc for me having 2003 and 2007 on my machine at the same time. Now I use different machines for each version. smiler44 07-03-2009, 12:47 PM Thanks, I put 2007 onto my D drive and both Excel 2003 on my C drive and 2007 on my D drive do seem to work. smiler44 |
