I am looking for any examples of how I can store weekly man hours for an employee.

Does anyone know where there are some examples?

I need to enter data by day for a given year and then report by year, month or week.

eg

user year month
1 2001 jan
wk1=10hrs
wk2=23hrs

etc

I think you must approach an automated solution for this because doing this task manually will be a hectic job and will consume lot of time.
I know a software tool which can fulfill all your requirements and will assist you in keeping record of hours utilized by resource.
