I am creating a database to manage my music, DVD and Video collection, and what I want is to be able to set a picture for each individual CD,DVD or video tape. The only problem is that I can't seem to get the picture to insert into the database/form without access going into MS Paint.

Does anyone know of a way of doing this????

And Is It Possible To insert any type of picture file???

ACCESS' integrated OLE features allow you to insert any kind of file (graphic, sound, video...).
BUT: the features work quite lousy, JPGS for example are bloated with the factor 1000 and regularly you will encounter incomprehensible error messages such as "OLE server not installed".
In some cases it is more convenient to save only the file name and for several file formats you will find third party programs on the inet (have a look at the "powerup" apps at www.UnsoftWareAG.com). (http://www.UnsoftWareAG.com).)
