I developed a database that will be run on a pen based laptop computer. BUT... The pen will not "write" in the text boxes. I can point to items in a list box with the pen and it works fine. The pen "writes" in MSWord without a problem. Is there something I need to do within Access for the pen to work? Thanks in advance!

This is very strange and I do not really have an answer for you, just hints.
These pens work like scanners which I use in several POS apps without problems.
Is it possible that the field in which the pen does not work has some kind of special format and that the pen's automatic CR (or TAB) triggers an error?
Did you try whether the pen works in a Memo formatted field?
Did you try numeric input?
