I am using an HP Laptop. This machine misbehaved and I thought of recovering windows by pressing F11. The recovery program automatically saved my data. No the problem is that when ever i click on "My Documents" folder I cant access it because previously my Windows had a log in PASSWORD. please how can i recover my 1.2GB data any software to crack it?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I believe, if you put the drive into another system as a secondary drive, you will be able to access the files and recover them.

I tried it as an external but failed too.

when it is being used as an external, can you get into the properties of the folder and set the permissions to allow everyone full control?
