Hi, hope you can help with what I am sure is a simple problem but has me stuck!

I have a text box on my form to print todays date on the form =Formate(Date(),"Long Date")

My problem is that when I review forms printed in the past this field, of course, shown the current date when I actualy need the date of printing.

Is there a way to have todays date inserted automatically but then frozen and not updated?

Do you mean on a report access will add the date if you select the option from the insert menu.

No, its on a form not a report but I did use the Insert Date and Time function from the toolbar to put the date onto the form.
