First get the spreadsheet in excel you already have or a new one. If you are starting fresh, label your columns and save it in a folder (familiar to you). Open Access don't use the DB wizard yet. Go to file>new DB and now use your wizard. Follow the steps. When your done Go to File>import>Select your spreadsheet. This should make your SS a table so you can manage in Access. The rest is basically using wizards and reading alot of Help ideas.
To make an outlet for users to use your DB be sure to create a Form from which your data can shine through!
