I am new to creating forms in Access so I apologize for my ignorance... I have a form that displays data from a table. When I change data in one of the text fields on the form and hit carriage return (which I suspect many of my users will do) the form automatically navigates to the next record. I would like for it to remain at the current record until the user is finished making changes to any/all fields on the form. Is there a standard way of controlling this? Thanks guys.

The problem you are having is a result of the forms "Enter Key Behaviour" (2000) or Cycle (97)property on the "Other" tab. Change it to Cycle current record.

However it also sounds like your Tab Order may be messed up.
