I have never used vb.net but would like to learn it. Can anyone please recomment me a good book for a newbie to learn vb.net.

I learned it the hard way.. trying and google. It worked pretty good. Are you familiar with vb at all?

Yes I am familiar with vb6 as I did it few years ago.but recetly I am doing access and vba so bit out of touch from vba.
