This question is gonna sound kinda crazy but is it possible to hide the navigation pane within a macro. (Like the Autoexec macro) the one that starts at the beginning of the database. Before anything else. It can only hids cause it will need to be viewed later just not right away.

Just set the checkbox on the Access Options > Current Database > Show Navigation Pane to NO. Then if someone needs it they can use F11 to bring it up. If you don't want them to be able to F11 then you can uncheck the USE ACCESS SPECIAL KEYS checkbox also in the same location as the other option.
