Hi all,

I'm new to this Forum but I've been part of Access forums for the last 8+ years and I must say that I've never come across anyone from South Africa.
I noticed there is a large number of users on this forum and wondered if there was a way to search by country.

Admins or Mods can you help?

Pure interest sake.

Thanks

This (http://www.maploco.com/) might be one way to do that....

I've come across it on a few forums..

Interesting and nice idea. But it would be up to Admin to include it on here.
Let's wait and see...

You could say I survived Jo'burg. However, I left before it joined the third world

Thats seems a very white idea? I wonder if black SA has the same opinion?

What do I know - thats why I am asking.

Just curious. Hubby and I visited there once when he was competing at the World Powerlifting championships. We were in Cape Town though.

Ahh - now your screen name makes sense (wife of the powerlifter).

Next time come to Durban - much nicer people :)

It was actually a qualified statement. When I left in 1993 Johannesburg was much the same as London. Quite posh, full of upmarket shops etc. When I went back in 2006, had you blindfolded me and told me I was in Nairobi I would have believed you. I was not passing any judgement, simply an observation.

You have qualified it now yes.

I apologise - was just wondering if it was a universal idea - the one that was originally communicated.

Ah, yes. I forget sometimes that not everyone knows where my screen name originates. ;)
