Hi Guys n Girls.

I would really appreciate some help.
I am keeping thi simple so my brain can understand it. I have a table (main) with only 3 fields:-

1. Current share price
2.Ammount bought
3.Value now

I basically want the value now to be a calculation of 1*2. I have created a querie of the above table and then a form based on that. I am trying to build an expression in the Value now box but no matter what I do it comes up with zero even though I have figures in fields 1 & 2 ?

Hope that makes sense.

I have just built a database for Stock & shares,policies etc, any advice you need just ask.

As for your question, in the value now enter

=[units]*[Bid Price]

units being the amount brought and bid price being the share price.
