I have run into several problems. First, I had a subform as part of several pages of forms. Data was entered in all forms and subforms, then I made several format changes, whe I tried to add additional data to a subform, a message on my status bar states that field is not updatable. Other subforms and forms allowed me to make changes, except this one. I tried making some changes to see if it would work, but nothing worked. So, I deleted everything - table, query, form, and subform. I started all over, and now, for my second problem (well first one never went away after I re created everything it still does not allow me to update or add anything.)
Now, when I tried to insert the subform from the tools bar into a page, it pastes subform on top of all my different pages in addition to the page where I wanted it. It sits on top of the already present forms and subforms.
I hope this makes sence and I hope someone can help me. Thank you!

I hope I have understood you correctly and here is what I would suggest. It sounds like you have created your form from a query and don't have your links set correctly on you relationships. Check your relationships and see if your referential integrity is checked. When I had the same problem, by checking that it fixed it.

As far as the form placement issue, I am not sure what you are trying to do. Are you using tabbed pages or just regular subform? Is your form linked to something with the parent and child relation? This could cause a problem. Hope this information help. http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
