i was curious if somehow I could put a Microsoft Word table into ONE cell in a table. Or if that was not possible, how to make it a picture. If that is not possible either, any other suggestions would be great.

View Full Version : Word table into Access rcdugge 08-06-2010, 05:04 AM i was curious if somehow I could put a Microsoft Word table into ONE cell in a table. Or if that was not possible, how to make it a picture. If that is not possible either, any other suggestions would be great. The_Doc_Man 08-06-2010, 07:58 AM Structurally, either make the cell a hyperlink or an image link. A field in a table (despite some new features of Access) is the wrong place to put that kind of thing. Further, putting it there treats it monolithically. I.e. indivisible object. If that was what you really wanted, my suggestions stand. If that is NOT what you wanted, then you can't do what you want the way you stated it. rcdugge 08-06-2010, 09:43 AM Let me explain it again i guess then. So I have a table in Access that I have been filling out using a word document. for the most part, the two fields(columns) that i have been filling out are just text. The name of the fields are questions and answers. The problem is one of the answers in the word document has a table. so my question would be how could i put a microsoft word table into one cell on an access table. Is that a better explanation. if the best way is the way that you described, how would you make the cell a hyperlink or image link? |
