Sorry my memory is going fast. I can't remember what to type in on Run that pulls up the area that has the start up menu to take out programs that open on boot. I have been searcing for days, but as usual help menus suck.

msconfig for the system configuration utility.

Thank You. I have used it often years ago, just couldn't remember it.

Instead of the msconfig you might use Autoruns.exe. This exe give you all programs and dll's etc which run on booting windows.

It was someone with spam links in their signature posting a pointless message here on this thread to get their spam signature out where the search engines can find it. So, they and their message are gone, bye bye, history.
