I have a database that is protected with a password. Although once you are in the database you have access to everything. I want only certain users to have access to the whole database. Any suggestions?

Also, I am not sure how to use user and group permissions.

Hi are you using the security option in access. You can setup the user and group option to only allow certain user rights to the form. Click on the paper help ( paper clip) and type in "USer and group permision"
it will help you get started. Good luck
