My fingers don’t move any more like I want them to, but it seems like whenever I am typing in Word that every once in a while the cursor jumps up a few lines, and I end up typing in the wrong spot. Has anybody else experience this?

Only when I have a sticky key on the keyboard or a book or other object accidently slips on to the keyboard.

Are you using a laptop? If so, the touchpad usually is the culprit. There is a setting under Control Panel > Mouse usually which lets you check an option that basically disables the touchpad when typing.
