Is anyone aware of a problem that will keep Access 2010 from opening a database located on a server?
Someone just sent me a copy of one that opens fine on my network in 2007.
The customer is using a single file for multiple users (ugh)

The only issue i had with it was when i was running 64bit 2010.. It wouldn't run code and macros from a 2007 db in 2010.. i'm not sure why but it didn't.... i dumped 2010 and went back to 2007 and haven't had a headache since..

I think he may have some security setting to restrictive.

Is it Small Business Server 2008 with mixed WinXP and Win7(Vista) computers? Are the Win7 computers dropping the network connection? If so, go here (http://www.petri.co.il/how-to-disable-smb-2-on-windows-vista-or-server-2008.htm) for a fix.
