all i saw when i was on the site was that the mobile furum version was powered by vBulletin just like this site. I'll re-visit on my phone to see what it says.

That looks like its only for vBulletin 4.1 which I do not wish to upgrade to.

So the answer would then be no, we aren't going to have a mobile friendly site. I doubt that will be that detrimental to the site but it would have been a nice way to be able to work on it from mobile devices as it currently is not so easy to do.

There might be other solutions suitable for vBulletin 3.8.6.
