I have a pc running xp OEM I need a copy of the software because I lost mine. I have the old numbers so I don't need that part.

Can't you make a system recovery CD. Just google for system back up.

I guess I could try, but my experience has been to start all over from scratch.

You'll have to start from scratch anyhow. Difference between the recovery cd and windows install is the PC system properties which are installed.

Or, just hit F11 or F8 ( depending on the PC) during booting to install directly from your back up sector.

Does any one have an old OEM in the X08 class
