Iran must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.

A fundamental question is when would intervention be "ripe"? As long as Iran is not substantially progressing, we can wait. Of course, there would be a problem is we wait too long.

I noted that the article made an unnecessary reference to an alleged plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s ambassador (http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/iranian-charged-in-terror-plot/2011/10/11/gIQAiaYxcL_story.html). Given the lack of credibility coming out of the Obama administration I have to wonder what else is going on. Did Obama watch the movie "Wag the Dog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wag_the_Dog)" and is now is manufacturing a scenario that can be manipulated to support his re-election?
