I have a report consisting of a main and 2 subreports. The report consists of a consolidation of data from 1, 2, or 3 selections made in 3 drop down boxes and should print or preview as a single page of consolidated data. When I make a single selection I receive a single page; with 2 selected I get 2 identical pages and 3 gives 3 identical pages. I had a consultant examine the db and he was happy with everything but could not suppress the additional pages.

I think the problem here could be your referencing the subform and the links between the subforms and the main forms. Are the subforms all relating with a unique number or is is a one-to-many reference. Another problem that users have is the actual layout of their reports, utilizing the detail section correctly.
