How many fields can be used in a report created through the report wizard? Apparently 41 fields is too many...

If I dont use the report wizard, is there still a field limitation?

Search Help for 'Limits, program' to see what your limits are. And be sure and compact your database often as this cleans out unused stuff.

The following restrictions apply to reports in Access 97

Total width of a Report = 55.87cm (22in)
Total Number of nested reports = 3
Number of fields you can SORT or GROUP on = 10
Total number of CONTROLS ans SECTTIONS that may be added to a form over is LIFETIME (note that this is over its lifetime)

It looks like this is either a Wizard restriction OR the wizard is trying to create a REPORT wwhich would be wider than 22in
