Hi,
I have a report that has lines to view records easily but when I export it to .rtf format (to Word) the lines are not there and the report is hard to read as there is no segregation of the data. Please help as I need to email this report to people who do not have access to the database.
Thank you.

Unfortunately it is what it is, Rich Text Format and the lines do not export. What you can do, though, is create the report in Word and use a Mail Merge linked to Access to create the document with the formating you need.

I'm new to Access so I need a little more clarification on your suggestion. You said to create the report in Word - I believe you're refering to the one I exported to rtf. How do I link a mail merge to Access and then format? I'm still taking baby steps with this program and appreciate the help.

Look in Word Help. Under Mail Merge. You will create a document in Word and then link to an Access data source. The same source you used for the report where you were creating the RTF file from. So, again, the formating will be all done in Word. The recordsource, from Access.

Thank you, I'll give it a try.
