i am in high school in Britain. i have to do coursework and need to construct a computerised till, for a dry cleaning business, in Access liked to to any other programme like excel or word. i have constructed the tables but not sure how to do the mathmatics so the user can run reports at the end of day or week. the mathematical stuff is, amount tendered, amount give, change in returned, etc. All this has to be stored for audit trails on weekly or daily business. (Statistics). does any one have an idea of how to do this. There is also a database of customers and their information and garments brought for cleaning by the customer, so recepits and cloths tags can be produced. Also there shall be statiscal analysis on the garmenst and customers.can anyone give sugestions for tables, reports and how to make the till.
