I have some VBA experience but haven't used DDE to run a Project file from Access. Basically I have a database of equipment and want to schedule it's use in Access and produce a Gannt chart etc in Project. Are there any good books that deal with this or example database / project files around?

I haven't tried to do this but you should be able to find the information you need from the help files in Project. Look under automation.
