I have built an address book for our office and would like to have a control that will scroll to an entry on a subform (As when you type in the search box of the code help file)
I have seen it work on an access database years ago but cant remember where !

Try looking at the Searching Options sample at http://www3.sympatico.ca/qaissuper/Index.html There is one with a form that limits a list box as you type in a text box that sounds like what you are looking for.
