hi folks,
this is my first post. glad to be a member. my problem.
Im trying to print a report that has a textbox which is two lines long. i want to change the spacing between the two lines but i cant. any suggestions? can it be done? Please, Help!

If you just want to make the box bigger just go into design view and slelect the text box and drag with the mouse or if you mean you want the size of the text box to chnge size each time you print depending on how much text is in the text box set the textbox properties to can grow = yes can shrink = yes

that was fast!!!
what i want to do is to change the line spacing inside the textbox. there are two lines of text in the box but i want them further apart. i dont want to change the size of the text.

oh right, sorry right click your text box go to properties. On the format tab scroll down to the bottom and second from bottom you will see line spacing type in the value you want here.

Thank you I found it in access xp. I was trying to do it in access 97. do you know a way of doing it in 97? if not its ok doesn't matter. thank you anyway youve been very helpful

You should be able to find it in access 97 by following the steps in my above post. You would have to be in form design view then select your text box then right click with the mouse on the box that pops up select properties at the bottom. Scroll to the bottom of the format tab then line spacing, it should be set to 0cm but you can type in?cm to change the line spacing. If you're not sure what value to put just keep going between form and design view until it looks like what you want.
