Hi there - can anyone help pls. I use the reports to print off bookings which sometimes are several pages long. The heading needs to go on every page - but here is where I am having problems - my report heading is also the page heading and so I am trying to suss out a way to get rid of the report header/footer and just use the page header.

I can do this by going into design each time I do a report and adjusting things, and then try and save the design in the autoformat, but the next time I come around to do a report I am back to where I started with a report header and no page header.

Is there anyway I can save these designs to save me a lot of time.

Even saving the report and going back into it later using parameters to decide the info I want to use doesn't work. There must be an easier way.

I use the columnar reports which are fine except for the problem with the headers

HELP PLEASE (explanations in laymans terms pls as all my Access use is self learnt and so computer terms I may not understand)

Many thanks
catlady

Yes this is an annoying quirk of the report wizards. I just open the report in design view and copy the entire Report Header and past it into the Page Header.

So simple - all those hrs of trying for nothing - hope myother query turns out to have an easy solution.

Thanks a lot.
