Hello everyone.
This is my first time posting on this site and I appreciate your patience.
I am working in an office with a home grown Access Database. One of their tables includes a primary key column called "Control Number." This is manually keyed in as this number is generated in another office. However, when we type in "1000" (for example) for the control number, the record is stored between "100" and "101."
When we pull up the record and flip through the information it goes from #100 to #1000 then to #101.
The cell is formatted for "Text". Is it as simple as setting this to "number" and then sorting from top to bottom?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Maco
