Is it possible to export a report to, for example a word or powerpoint file?

The report displays charts aswell as text.

cheers

The export exports to Word and Excel leave a lot to be desired. They both remove all graphical elements. There is no export to powerpoint. You would need to do it with automation.

The only way to export a visually identical report is to use the snapshot format or pdf if you own the pdf creation software. Snapshot files are "pictures" and so cannot be edited. Pdf files can be edited if you own the pdf creation software.

Hi Mike

Not sure if this might help you. It certainly done the trick for me, maybe worth having a look at anyway.

Here's another thread (http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55267&highlight=export+to+pdf) that might be of interest.

Mike

Yes, you can bring an ACCESS report with a chart into PowerPoint. My report had multiple page charts and I was able to bring it all into PowerPoint.

Go to Report

Select your report

Right click

Select Export

Type File Name
Select save as type: SnapShot File

Next Follow the instructions on this link:

NOTE: Download the patch for SnapShot Viewer if you aren't able to see the report in WORD.

Good Luck.
