Hi,
Is there any way to turn off the Access Screen that is displayed when you open up an Access databasa?
Thanks for any ideas

This is one of the easier thing to do in Access.
1.. In the Menu under Tools -> Options then View Tab, there is a property check box called "Start Up Dialog Box" If you uncheck this, the Access splash screen will not show.
2.. A second thing you can do is create a .bmp image and call it the same as you Db (MyFile.mdb & MyFile.bmp) Put these in the same folder and the bmp image will be displayed.
3.. Create your own Splash Screen. The attachment has 2 files. Copy then to the same directory somewhere and open the Db. I'm sure you will get the idea.

I tried the first thing, and the screen showed up, only for a second, but still there. However, I like the second part, and I am going to give that a shot right away.
Sorry for repeating myself, this is just driving me crazy!
