Hi All

Im trying to produce a report..obviously...

My data includes imported tables from excel (some tables contain only percentage values, others contain only index values)
There are 65 rows in each table, and I attached a field, numbered 1-65 to the front of each imported table in order to create a relationship amonst the tables.

I use the design report wizard when creating my reports. I cannot select all the variables I want in the report through the design wizard, as it gives me a too many varaibles error.
Therefore I add one table through the wizard and try to add the other variables by changing the control source.
I add a text box, right click on it, go to poperties, select the data tab and change the contorl source.
From the far left section of the expression builder, I find my table through the tables folder, and then double click on the variable (var x) I would like to use, i also change the format to "General Number".

However my problem occurs when I try to preview the report, it prompts me with a "Enter Paramater Value" for the variable which I just added (var x).

I have no clue as to why this occurs. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the long read but Ive tried to include as much info as possible, in order to better understand the siuation.
