I have an access database that was copied to shared server. 6 people have access to it. Two days ago a file appeared - LockFile.9. When I am the only user I cannot make changes to the database, and one of my collegues could not get into the database until I exited. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this should happen, in particular when I may be the only user? Could it be that another user did not exit the db before closing the machine down? Any help would be much appreciated. :confused:
