Hello, new here, and new to access so apologies if I sound a little basic.

Couple of things :

Need to link 2 fields on a form, so instead of selecting the product ID, I want it to list the descriptions instead of the ID, but still select the ID if you get me.

Another thing, in my products list, they have a catagory, then the product, eg, car makes, then the models. On the form I need to be able to select the Manufacturer from the combo, then have another combo to select only the cars from that manufacturer.

Is this easy to do?

Hm sorry read my post back to myself and it just sounds wrong !!

It's because everything is linked to the ID and not the description, and I need to be able to input through the description and not the ID.
