Hi everyone, i hope all is well.

In one of my databases, an auto-number field seems to have reset itself without manual intervention (e.g appending a long integer value). Does anyone have any suggestions for how this may have happened? :confused: :eek:

You mean it started back at 1?

You compacted a database with an empty table, most likely.
