How do I maintain exported text values into Excel?

I'm exporting a report with a column of "heats" of aluminum that have to stay in a particular format.

Example of Access format:

161-1
162-1
163-1
164-1

Excel format after export:

-602617
-603713
-603348
-602982

Thoughts? Ideas?
