I wonder if anybody can help me. I'm making a database for students in a music school. There's information on person (name, prename, address, telephone, ...), on the solfege (lessons to learn how to read music; studylevel, day of lesson, hour of lesson), and information on the instruments (which instrument, which teacher, day of lesson, hour of lesson). Some students play two instruments, so i had to name different columns: instrument 1, day 1, teacher 1, instrument 2, day 2, teacher 2 ...

Now I wanted to make an automatic list for each teacher with their students, sorted by day AND hour. Is this possible? My problem is that I made various columns in case the student plays two instruments...

Does someone understand me? And can that someone help me?

It sounds to me that your Dbase design is not really in line with Access basic requirements. Do a search on normaliz(s)ation on this forum. See how your design fits to the 1NF, 2NF requirements and post back your question.
