I was viewing the thread concerning the pope and gays. It had more than 8 pages of posts, all of a sudden the posts are gone and the pages have reduced to 8.
Whats going on!! it looks like ita another frustrating strategy by a hacker.

The posts were deleted because it was a bunch of spam from a bunch of kids "just passing through". By that I mean, they are banned.

Yes, there's a possibility that they will register under other names - and they have - but I'm monitoring it now.

I, and the other mods, can't be here all the time but, if anyone does see any of this sort of activity or spam or anything that goes against the purpose of these forums then please use the 'Report Post' button (http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/images/buttons/report.gif) to notify us so that we can deal with it.

I'll make an announcement that will appear in every forum about this.

Yes, it does. I can't ban their IP, however, as that is an Admin function but I've put the question to Jon and told him the IP.

I haven't banned Rambo1982 - yet - as, unlike the others, there is a genuine Access question amongst their, now deleted, posts.

Just banned the whole IP from my history forum; one of the kids drifted over there, as I suspected they might.
