Ha ha, You're not quite what I was expecting.............:D
I love dogs but I lost my little dog a couple of weeks before christmas. :( We since have a little adopted cat, our neighbours "from hell" a few doors down got a dog and they were kicking the cat and it was coming to us looking for food etc but at the time we couldn't take it in because of our own dog but it's like it was meant to happen. Never been one for cats myself but I couldn't see anyone be cruel to an innocent animal so we've taken the cat in and it's kind of eased the pain of losing my dog
Hay
Mile-O 01-04-2006, 02:41 AM I lost my little dog a couple of weeks before christmas.
You too?
Anyway, here's me:

Hayley Baxter 01-04-2006, 02:50 AM You too?
Yeah I'm afraid so. We had him a good 13 years so he was a good age but it's still sad to lose them at any time. I posted a photo of him in Friday's thread.
Anyway, here's me
Now that's the kind of pic Rich would post :p

Heading to work now!! Blah...
Mile-O 01-04-2006, 03:07 AM PS The footy forum you sent me doesn't seem to be taking off too well!
Goal Mouths (http://www.goalmouths.com), I know. Just give it time. The admin wants to attract people who can talk about football intelligently rather than use textspeak, belittle others' teams, and post cryptic nonsense. Sadly, most footy chat - 606 being an example - is full of illiterate bigots who must worry about tripping over their knuckles whilst shambling down the street.
Anyway, here's me:
Your nose looks out of place
Mile-O 01-04-2006, 03:29 AM You need to tune it in properly.

Better hope Rich doesn't see it then :p

Gosh Kraj---that last pic sent shivers through me. Isn't that the guy from the movie Poltergiest! *Shivers* That movie scared me sooo bad..
Yeah, that's the guy. I didn't really think Poltergeist 2 was very good, but that guy was one of the creepiest characters I've ever seen. *Shudder*

Ohh, I know...that character scared the mess out of me. Two wasn't good, but him in made it creepy.
reclusivemonkey 01-07-2006, 06:05 AM Two other honourable mentions;
1. Antony Perkins in Pyscho when he comes down into the cellar in his dead mum's dress and wig.
2. The guy in the rabbit suit (giving a BJ to an unseen character?) in "The Shining". I mean the whole film is pretty scarey, but at that point it goes into another realm...

Daniel is adorable. He is in a fun age isn't he. I know my 3 yr old is fun to watch. To experience life through their eyes as they see things for the first time. It is amazing!!
I love the kitty pic. He is too cute.
indesisiv 01-10-2006, 04:21 AM Thanks selenau837
He has his moments... But he is generally lovely. Mostly he is happy to sing to anyone that is near him.
Just had 3 weeks holiday from work to spend some time with him - much needed rest for me.
I have now booked a week off for his 3rd birthday at the end of Feb so we are going to try and do something to make it special for him.

Yes, both of my kids love to sing. They love to sing songs from the Phantom of the Opera! I mean, I can't tell you why. :D My 8 yr old has a voice like a woman. It is scary at times. But, I am going to encourage her and hopefully it will take her far one day.
That sounds wonderful, I am sure y'all will make it memorable. Gosh, kids are so wonderful.

The young one is gabrielle and the elder is Morgan.
I have not as many of Morgan because she is camera shy. Hope you enjoy them.
Hayley Baxter 01-29-2006, 07:09 AM Ohh, Hey he is adorable
Yes he is.....until he wants to play then scratches me with his sharp claws and gives a cheeky bite..... I think he is still quite a young cat, it belongs to our neighbours a few doors down but they weren't looking after him. The cat was left out in rain, hail and snow sleeping in our back garden for shelter usually. It was also very thin and always came round looking for food etc, if it was getting fed at home it wouldn't come looking anywhere else. I don't know how anyone can be cruel to an animal  They are not getting him back now!
Ok, heres more pics of my youngin's

Thats right, you keep 'em. Also, you can clip is claws. Just clip the tips of them off with nail clippers. That way he can't hurt you as a bad. Also, make sure you don't lip to far down, you will cause them to bleed. Just clip right above the li'l pink in his claws.

TessB 01-29-2006, 02:47 PM Actually, I think he's the one in the middle. He's the one putting rabbit ears on his friend.
No... on second thought, you're probably right.... his outfit hides his mustache if he's the blue.
I have NO idea why you are so shy, Rich. It's not your nature!
Although..... maybe it's not shyness at all.
Maybe it is just pure rebellion. You just don't want someone telling you that you have to do ANYTHING.
Which does seem to be in line with your adversarial character. ;)
Are you someone's little brother, Rich?
Do you have older sisters that you used to enjoy teasing, pestering, annoying and generally making miserable when you were a little boy? Is that the only way you know how to express your love? :D

<<poke poke.... rib rib.... prod prod.... nudge nudge.... >>

The road is of course just a reference to his reputation.
Otherwise, I believe I have seen him holding someone of supreme beauty in his arms. But it's not for me to tell who it is, because I've only guesses to go on. :p
And I'm not about to say where I saw him, because I'm not a squealer.

With no happy endings; just lessons.
Some where along the road, I lost the charisma and confidence she fell in love with, and used her as a crutch. My confidence is returning now, and my business is starting to show signs of success. But it was too little, too late, to save the life with jbishton.

Cool - that's great.
So far it's 1 year and nearly 2 months! Been very tempted sometimes and keep dreaming about smoking and wake up thinking oh no, then realize it's okay, I haven't!!!
There's a great download at http://www.xarka.com/freeware/ which is a quitkeeper and tells you how much you've saved, how many you've not smoked etc etc. So far I've saved £1598.34!! Times that by two for Tim and I that's over £3k!!! It's a real help when you're tempted!
Probably get told off for hijacking this thread now - so if you go to http://family.monomontage.com/ it's got all our family pix on! There's lots there of Tim, me and my wonderful step-children, Jethro and India. The ones of the baby is my gorgeous niece Ellie (Eleanor Rose) who is 1 in a few days time. I was at her birth and she's very special.

Like the montages, have you tried the cut and paste method in photoshop yet?
Well they're my two lovely sisters! (Way too young for you Rich!!) :D
Tim does the montages so not sure how he does it! He's the photoshop expert (ACE) - software trainer in graphics etc. My knowledge of photoshop is very basic - just what he can teach me when we get a chance to sit down and go through it, which isn't very often. He set up monomontage.com to try and get another business going, but so far it hasn't taken off. But he's now written some piece of code to do a lot of the work for him, so is going to bring down the prices as originally they were going to take about half a day each, but now will be much quicker.
He's got a lot of his art on a site http://www.timwilson.co.uk/ and is hoping to approach a publisher in the not too distant future, so he can slow down on the training and concentrate on his art. I think it's fab and love the stuff he does and know that if he could do more and more art, he'd gladly give up the training!
We've also just launched our own website for wedding & portrait photography so hoping that will take off and I give up this job, or at least go part-time!

Hmm - strange question. Wasn't quite what I was expecting.
To be honest I really don't know! I really don't think there'd be much of an opinion, from my children anyway. Indy's only 10 and don't think she'd even know what to say. Jethro maybe, as he's at high school may know more - we pick them up tomorrow for the weekend. I can try and ask them, but I don't expect much of a response.

I was just curious if the hate America message R&C bring to the forum is prevalent among the younger generation. And yes please let me know what their responses are... Hum... I think I'll ask my nephew how he feels about GB. Maybe even Iraq. Or better still, GWB...
ColinEssex 02-24-2006, 04:25 AM Then perhaps you and Col should dine there more often :D
No thanks - it takes too long to get served.
Our local McDonalds has 9 serving points but only 3 open even at peak times (when the kids come out of school) the queue goes out the door. I waited 15 minutes to get served once. I wrote and complained, just a standard "excuse" letter was sent back. People walk out in disgust at the length of time they wait, I would say the average wait time is 5 - 10 minutes.
Fast food? yeah right:rolleyes:
The whole place is run by teenagers, I don't think there's anyone there over 16. . . . . . god knows what they do on the burgers before you get them. . . . .

Ugh - no ta! Ditto Col's responses. The most I get from there is a drink and that's twisting my arm and is only if I'm in a group who're goin there. But can't remember the last time we took them there.

Unfortunately there was enough debt already there to pay off so we weren't able to save specifically by putting away the money we weren't spending. I did try!

It is so reassuring to read post from a pleasant British person like yourself... After the beating we take from R&C, it's comforting to think that they are the exception to the notion we have that British people are in general, kind hearted and proper.
