I heard people saying report generation in MS Access is tedious. It is better to generate reports in excel linking access db. Let me know which one is easier

1. Reports using MS Access
2. Reports using Excel with MS Access as back end

Why not use the Report wizard and try it for yourself

Among other things, Access is more that flexible than Excel when it comes to reports.

Access is generally better than Excel, except when it comes to charting data. Excel allows more parameters on one chart.
