"The Brain" has a lot more eye candy; I've never used it though.

I do use IQNotes on my PDA. I don't know whether "free" is a requirement for you. I believe there is a "non-PDA" version of IQNotes.

I figured you used MSProject to map your Dbase configuration in.
But no , I do not know Freemind, although it looks pretty open to me.

After having mapped thru Freemind, you might use Ishikawa to anlyse it ?

Click "test shareware version" for free software.

Thanks fro the feedback Monkey & Rak. I downloaded the Freemind and I am tinkering with it to see what advantages it has over Visio, which has a mind map feature...

Ken,

I did a download of freemind , but can't get it to work.
Is it supposed to work with MS Office or any other ?
Would appreciate if you elaborate on this.

Cheers, Ron

Ron, Being Java based, it should run on any platfrom that supports Java. I had to download Java Runtime.

I used Tony Buzan's version a long time ago, a very long time ago. The original was good, for it's time, so presumably it's got better. The version I used was version 1.2 I think. Perfect for training notes.
