Had this happen just this week. I Opened the control panel and went into System, Advance, Performance Options and then selected "Let windows choose what's best for my computer" and now everything is working fine.

Even when disabling the Navagation pane I can click the dropdown arrow next to the Open Folder, select more commands and the Access Options screen opens. Here I can select Current Database and all the options are available again for anyone to re-activate.

Thanks....I looked at the ldb file and it just gives a computer ID by the looks of it and I have no idea who that would refer to. I'll most likely have to look at writting to a table as mentioned.
