Question Lag Database while Searching

my database lag whenever i start searching, not really bad but i could notice that it blinks whenever i press a key on my keyboard.

computer has a big ram (4gb), i5, with 500gb HDD... lots of free space. the database file is only 6.9MB...

maybe there is a code that disable or makes the blinking unnoticed?

do you see Calculating... continually in the bottom (status bar) or some loop continually going on. (infinite)

yes correct, i could see CALCULATING......

maybe thats the reason why, right? but how can i eliminate this because its kinda disturbing that it is blinking whenever i search for a record. by the way, my database has calculation involved in other column fields.

i transfered the calculations in the query instead in the table because i thought the calculations in the table is the problem, and placing the calculation in the query will end up the blinking while searching BUT I WAS WRONG.

calculation whether in Table or Query still the blinking is noticeable. mahenkj2 was right, theres a CALCULATING... in the database.

UP for my thread... any help is highly appreciated.....
