So I know this is gonna end up being something dumb that I did but I can't find where I messed up for the life of me(it's been a while since I used Access).

I made forms and I'm trying to enter new data into those forms, but whenever I start to type into the subform it says

'Field Cannot Be Updated'

and then when i ask for help it says the control property is locked.

How do change this so that I can enter new data into my forms?

Thanks

Hmm. Just a suggestion: If you right-click on one of the textboxes that you can't type into and then look under the "Data" tab, is "Enabled" set to "Yes" and "Locked" set to "No"?

That probably would've done it, but I ended up finding I may have been making it too hard. I had a relationship table that i don't think I even need. When i took it away and just made the relationship direct between the two tables it works now.

Thanks
