What is the chain of events when a form and its subforms both have OnLoad events?

I'm experiencing issues with subsequently moving the focus on one form set up like this and wondering if I am doing something I shouldn't.

http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=862072#post862072

However I have another form with a very similar structure that works fine.

I have moved this aspect to a new topic because I would like to know what happens regardless whether it has any bearing on my problem.

The subform loads before the main form loads.

So hypothetically this would mean that if a subform's OnLoad event referred to a control on the main form that was influenced by the main form's OnLoad event it might have trouble.

Fortunately such a design would seem like a dog's breakfast that we would hopefully intuitively avoid. However it is nice to know before the dog wakes up and wants to bite.:D

I guess then it isn't causing the problem I am experiencing but finding out what is wrong does often consist of elimininating all that reasons that might be involved.

Thanks SOS.

In Access help, not VBA help, try looking for events. The sequence is explained there.
